Calvin is a natural for hunting, retrieving, pointing, and swimming and his loving clever personality makes him a lot of fun to hang around with and to train. He's going to specialize in field events and will dabble in obedience and tracking on the side. While he is mainly destined for field trial competition, on a lark, at just 6 months of age Calvin attended the Puppy Assessment weekend for the local Search and Rescue jurisdiction and passed the test handily with the testers remarking that the caliber of his work was like that of a year old dog that had been regularly trained. |
