Dixon shows tremendous promise and talent as a future tracking and field competitor and his good looks make him a Dual Champion prospect to boot. He has placed and won in all-breed field trials and earned all of his Puppy and Derby points towards his AKC Field Championship by the age of 14 months. He is currently in training with a professional trainer for senior field events. Dixon has started to compete in obedience and has a top score in competition of 197 from the Novice B class.
By nature, Dixon is a high drive, happy-go-lucky friendly fellow that is quick to learn and has tons of natural field ability. He loves everyone he meets but he especially adores small children. Dixon has one of his AKC show major wins and placed third in a WCA Field Futurity. His hips have been certified clear of hip dysplasia by PennHip, .31 and .28, putting him in the 85th percentile for the breed. He is available as a sire to approved females. |
