Well the first thing you'll notice about Eva is that she has a long tail - that is because she was bred in Germany from fully titled and health screened German parents. This big, intelligent gal is slated for a career in Search and Rescue work and she has shown great aptitude, focus and determination on her foundation SAR work right from the start. At 9 months of age Eva attended the Puppy Assessment training camp for her local SAR jurisdiction and so exceeded the requirements that she 'skipped a grade' and was transferred right to the adult Dog in Training division. Eva qualified as an official SAR dog at just under 18 months and has already been deployed on searches for lost people. In her spare time she will compete in other kennel club events. |
