I got my first Weimaraner, Isaiah, in 1993 and immediately set out to train him for the many activites that Weimaraners are capable of and together we learned about conformation showing, obedience, fieldwork, search and rescue, and tracking. Since that time my love of the breed and my enjoyment in dog training for the various competitive events and for real life hunting has continued unabated.
I became a breeder in the year 2000 breeding first under the Regen prefix and currently under the TRAX kennel name and working extensively with like-minded breeders towards producing beautiful, willing dogs with good health and tremendous natural field ability. Thus, a TRAX dog is not a indicative of a particular bloodline, but rather reflects the type of pedigree and dog that represents a positive step in the overall development of the breed.
I have a sideline interest in photography and have taken most of the photos on the website. I live with my terrific husband Sly as well as several descendents of my foundation bitch, Ruby and make my living as a physical therapist. I am a member of the
Canadian Kennel Club, the Weimaraner Club of America (WCA), the Weimaraner Association of Canada
(WAC) and the BC All Breed Pointer Club.
